Erste Ausflüge in den Philippinen

Schon zweimal war ich bis jetzt auf kleinen Reisen unterwegs in den Philippinen: Das eine Mal hab ich einige meiner Kollegen wieder besucht etwa 3 Auto- und 1 Bootsstunde von Manila entfernt auf der Insel Mindoro um mich vom Einkaufs- und Möbilierungsstress zu erholen. Dieser Ort ist gleichzeitig auch die einfachste und schnellste Variante ab Manila, um dem Paradies etwas näher zu sein. Das andere Mal habe ich mit dem Schiff die südlichste Insel der Philippinen besucht, nämlich Mindanao (keine Angst ich war nur in den sicheren Gebieten auf Mindanao). Dabei habe ich auch eine nördlich von Mindanao vorgelagerte Insel namens Camiguin besucht. Wundervolle Vulkäne, eindrückliche Waserfälle und heisse Quellen waren meine Höhepunkte. Bist du schon nachts in heissen Quellen geschwommen mit einer Wassertemperatur über 30 Grad und hast die Palmen und den sternenübersääten Nachthimmel angeschaut.... ? Ein tropisches Paradies, wo die Leute noch ziemlich abgeschieden von der Welt gemütlich und friedlich in einer absolut umwerfenden Natur leben. Begrüsst wird man hier noch mit “hello friend“. Camiguin tönt ja etwa so ähnlich wie “come again“ und ich denke, das wird bei mir auch der Fall sein. Ich freue mich jedenfalls schon auf die nächsten Reisen im philippinischen Archipel auf eine der 7000 Inseln mit atemberaubender Natur über oder unter Wasser.

First trips in the Philippines

So far I was already twice on small trips around the Philippines. The first time I have visited a few of my friends about 3 hours by bus and 1 hour by boat from Manila on the island of Mindoro in order to recover from the stress with buying furnitures and installing my appartment. This place is also the closest and fastest way from Manila in order to be a bit closer to paradise. The second time I have visited Mindanao, the most southern island of the Philippines by boat (don’t worry I was only in secure areas on Mindanao). I have also visited an island off the coast of Mindanao called Camiguin. Wonderful volcanoes, impressive waterfalls and hot springs were my highlights. Did you already swim late night in hot springs with water of more than 30 degrees and looking up the palmtrees and the night sky full of stars… ? A tropical paradise, where people live pretty isolated from the world jovially and friendly in an absolut stunning nature. They still welcome you with “hello friend“. Camiguin sounds similar like “come again“ and I think that will be the case for me. I am really looking forward to my next trips in the philippine archipelago to one of the 7000 islands with breathtaking nature above or under water.
